MidxMidwest (MXMW) is focused on creating the most productive interactions between the region’s early-stage tech founders, capital providers and corporate innovators. Launched in 2022 by Flyover Capital and Iron Prairie Ventures, the event brings together high-growth entrepreneurs, national investors, and corporate innovators to spotlight and accelerate the momentum of the middle of the country.

Now entering its fourth year, the 2025 event will host 100 early-stage founders, 100 venture funds from across the U.S., and key ecosystem players for curated breakout sessions, over 500 pre-scheduled 1x1 meetings, and evening programming including a rooftop reception and small-group industry dinners.

With attendees from more than 20 states and a growing track record of capital formation and cross-sector collaboration, MXMW has become a cornerstone of entrepreneurship in the region. The event intentionally centers the middle of the country, highlighting the founders and stories that often go overlooked in coastal tech circles. By identifying untapped potential and facilitating investment opportunities, this invitation-only event continues to elevate Kansas City’s role as a hub for venture connectivity.
